Lions take a hit 2-1!

(Week 4) Well what can we say, it was ugly! Ever have one of those games were madden just rapes you? For instance, opening kickoff, I. Bruce fumbles on the 14 and it rolls back to the 2 and Bears recover. Thats the kinda game it was. 3 fumbles and 3 lost, as well as, 5 ints! The Lions just had the madden forces against them. Also, it's real hard to sack the other teams QB when they are dropping back 20 yards to pass all game!!! Anyway with this week looking ahead to the Bucs!

Joey Harrington

Joey Harrington is a 25 year old 3 year pro out of Oregon. He's at 96 overall and has a strong are as well as accurate. So far with the sim win and week twos game he has 418 yards on 30 completions out of 52 attempts for 57%. He's has 5 touchdown passes and 2 ints. Both ints came during week 1s simulated win. His rating is at 99.6 threw week 3. Lions have 27 year old 4 year pro Marc Bulger at 2nd string qb. He's out of West Virginia. Kerry Irving (cpu generated rookie) out of Michigan brings up the rear at #rd string quarterback. He's 21 years old. With any luck Joey Harrington will start all year and do well.

(Week 1) The Lions won convincingly over (Boyer) the Redskins. Do to bad file the Lions had to take a sim win. Thus no stats for the weeks game! The lions lost some nice stats and gave up way to much in the sim win. Used to having one of any leagues top rush defenses sweetrun2002 starts in the hole with the sim accumilating over 100 yards. They will have to be extra tough the rest the season to stay on top of the leader board.

(Week2) This was a tough game for the cardinals. Str8macjr had been away from Madden for several months and it showed. Lions win big with a final score of 34-10. Detriot dominated on the ground with 50 attempts for 176 yards and 2 rushing tds. HB Greg Jones led the way with 40 carries for 140 yards and to tds. QB Joey Harrington did his part with 14 completions on 24 attempts with 2 tds and no ints. 119.5 QB rating not bad at the end of the day. WR Billy McMullin led all wrs with 4 catches for 89 yards. The efensive player of the game for the Lions was SS Mike Brown who had 3 tackle sto go along with his 1 int. We have to mention our punter Brookes Barnard who kept the Cards on their end of the field. 5 punts, with a 48.2 ave and 4 inside the 20. Lions got a bye in week 3 so more to come in week 4.
