14-2 Division Title, Come on SB!

He's a Steamroller....

LOOK OUT!!!

Through week 10 Earl Campbell has single handedly manhandled all that have gotten in his way. In 9 games (one bye week) the Oilers have gained almost 1600 yards on the ground. Earl is responsible for 1,329 yards of 1,572. He has carried the ball 279 times, almost 100 more than any other RB in the league. Averaging 4.3 yards a game with 8 touchdowns, as well as breaking 94 tackles. With a average of 132 yards per game on the ground by Earl alone, not to mention Larry Csonka or Gale Sayers, the Oilers will be hard to beat. Let's see if the man with the 34" thighs can hold onto the lead for the rest of the season and capture the rushing title. He knows the importance of a great o-line and is thankful for his. Earl, "Props to all those 300 pound freaks up front. You guys are Nasty!" He also says, "don't be trying to make any trade offers for any of them oversized steers!"

The Run-N-Shoot Man...

Warren Moon is #1!

While Earl Campbell eats up the ground, Warren Moon is like Superman flying threw the air. The two of them have combined for 4,000 yards in just 9 games. Moon was rated #1 in the league the entire season till last week 10's game with the Ravens that knocked him down to 3rd overall. With a 116.0 rating and over 2,200 yards passing Warren is just as much a threat as Earl is. He has put the ball up 202 times and completed 125 of them, for 30 tds (dam) and only 11 ints. He can run, he can throw, he can get the job done. The Run-n-Shoot is clicking. His back up Steve McNair is to shabby either. McNair has contributed nicely as well. Along with other greats like TEs' Gonzo, Winslow, and Shockey (the rookie), this group is headed to the Big Game. Cya in the playoffs!!! Up, up,up and away!!!

Steve Mcnair is waiting in the wings for starting qb Warren Moon. A very similiar style fast and strong with a a good arm and handles the ball well. Moons 30 now and Mcnair has played some downs and did pretty well so far. He's 27/40, 61% with 4 tds and just 1 int, with a total of 455 yards. He actually has the best qb rating in the league 128.5, not bad for 2nd string. Season 2 they might have to split the duty.

Well if you think McNair is a great 2nd string, look at the the back up hbs on my team. Gale sayers, awesome bkt and acc out the ying yang has several hundred yards also. T.J. Duckett is no scrub either. He doesnt have the speed that Earl or Gale have but hes is strong and can bust the gut! The Oilers backfield is by far the best in the league. With these 2 guys contributing along with hard nosed FB Larry Csonka the run will be hard to stop. But, if you do, you still got to deal with Moon and the high powered passing game. This team really has to many weapons to mention, but we will try to get to them all!!

Tony Gonzalez

Starting TE

The three big offensive ends Tony Gonzalez, Kellen Winslow, and rookie Jeremy Shockey just add to the lethal weapons already mentioned. If these guys don't win it all this coaches game play really does blow. We are going to change the team name to We Suck next season if we don't pull it off. Hopefully these 3 stars make the impact they should and lead the oilers to the ATGFL Super Bowl victory! Don't worry we still have more weapons.
